These days its tough to know who rides for who. Might have a shoe sponsor and your shoes are all beat up. Might ride for a strip club, well I am sure we would remember that one. But this is for you guys to know the Deco Team has some serious support from all around and you should know who is supporting this crew. Pretty crazy list going on here, its bmx, lets ride this lightning.
Check out BMX PLUS Magazine test and review of FuForks, pretty amazing write up.

Since this is Mothers Day weekend I will start off with all you mothers out there…have a good one. All you non mothers have a good one to, why not? Chad also had this to say relating to riding flatland
Was riding flat today and this creepy dude drove up and asked what I was doing. My reply, WHY? He said he needs some yard work done. I said REALLY? This dude was real creepy and I was going to throw my bike at him but I looked at him and said I HAVE TWO BUSINESSES then he just drove away.
One of the more weird interactions while riding flat. This is one, I have hundreds of weird ones, but this one is at the top of the list.

Moments of Zen
So after posting were doing Try Outs for Deco for 2013 a flood of emails came in. Most were serious but a few made me laugh, so here are pieces of them…and thanks and sorry for the let down to all who emailed in. Some of you wrote dick responses and most figured out they were had. Read it all before you just jump to tryouts.
1-Hello Chad,
My name is Xxx XxXxx. Unfortunately I am unable to attend your team try outs. I’m trying to save Minnesota from the abominable snow man attacks that keep occurring in the Midwest (RePreSeNtT!) There has been dozens of casualties of BMX’ers being attacked by the 18” tall Yeti. We have tried everything to rid this beast, but have failed in every way possible. We have tried peeing on it, using magically enchanted fire arrows (bought from Walmart for $8.72 a dozen), and sacrificing virgins… Just when I thought that everything has failed, this giant beast saw me getting rad… so rad the I noticed he started melting bit by bit. The good people of Minnesota cannot keep living this way! So I come forth to you and ask you a great favor. Just pretend you see me at the team tryouts (I won’t tell a damn soul… well maybe a few..)… I will be too busy getting rad in the Midwest. here are a few links to some clip I did that reallllly pissed off that stinky yeti!
2-Dear Mr. DeGroot,
Team Tryouts
Deco Team will be hosting open tryouts for the 2013 season. We are looking for 3-5 fully dedicated riders that are committed to putting in the time and effort needed to compete and excel at a high level. We would prefer some select bmx experience, although it is not completely necessary. We are not interested in riders that tend to team hop since our goal is to establish a solid group that will grow together as a team and that will exhibit good sportsmanship, dedication, teamwork and a passion for the game of bmx. Our program is designed to teach, develop and encourage the play of riding while having fun and competing at a high level. We plan on participating in at least 2 tournaments a month. If our requirements and goals sound good to you and you believe you have what it takes to be a part of Deco SQUAD, we look forward to seeing you at tryouts this Sunday! Contact Coach Chad for time and place at Chad@decobmx.com
“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars, but if they don’t ride together, the team won’t be worth a dime.”
Pre-tryout
It will not benefit you to go into a tryout without having practiced. Make sure to brush up on your skills for at least a couple weeks leading up to the tryout. You’ll also want to ride in different spots. Make sure to practice manuals, too!
Lastly, you will be expected to ride everything. Get some conditioning workouts in before your tryout to increase your stamina and agility. Riding ramps, parking lots, dirt jumps, and stretching thoroughly will put you in tip-top shape for tryouts.
If you really want a head start, wake up early to get morning practice before tryouts. Focus on the fundamentals and you’ll be ahead of the game come the big day.
Show up early and be prepared
No coach will be thrilled with a latecomer; in fact, it may kill your chances of making the team. Being on time for a tryout means being at least 15 minutes early with any pre-registration form already completed. You do not want to be straggling with your bike while every other player is fully dressed and waiting on you to begin the tryout.
Likewise, there is almost nothing worse than being unprepared at a tryout, so make sure you have everything you need. You may want to pack your bag the night before to ensure that you don’t miss a thing: Hat, shoes, helmet, tools, extra tube, iphone, Gopro, and water.
Whatever you do, leave your nerves at home. You are at a tryout because you have the skills and you want to be there. Don’t let your nervousness get the best of you!
Skills and positions
You will be asked what form of riding you do. Make sure the coaches are aware of your primary riding, but take some repetitions from as many forms as possible. You should never tell a coach that you are not willing to ride a certain way. Hustle to where you are directed, and try your hardest on that obstacle.
Bunny hop, spin, twist, and use style. Sell out for every move. You should never leave a tryout donning a sparkling clean uniform. Show the coaches that you are a well-rounded player and willing to ride anywhere.
When you are trying out each form of riding, be aware of what they entail. Coaches will be looking for certain abilities:
- At a skate park, you will be expected to be able to anticipate where every ramp will put you and be fearless of all ramps.
- Street riding, you’ll be expected to have great range, good eye, a good sense of direction, and aggressiveness on terrain.
- On the flat ground, you will be expected to have flow and style, have outstanding style and a powerful moves, be able to ride with distractions, expect the elements, and improve quickly.
Be supportive and loud
Be vocal. You want to stand out during a tryout so do not be mute or unresponsive. When other riders are up, cheer for them. Pick them up. If you were them, wouldn’t you want to have the same support?
If you are a positive person and supportive of others while trying your hardest, you will surely be noticed. Also, respond to any and all feedback, whether it’s coming from the coaches or the riders. Thank them for advice and prove to them that you are actively listening, not just hearing their words.
Be a leader
Coaches are looking for leaders, which means that you should take it upon yourself to take charge! Do not be shy to be first on your bike. When a coach has to wait for someone to step up and be the first to go, it can get frustrating, and they will likely be less inclined to select a rider who appears tentative. Step up and be a leader. Even if you are the first player to ride, so be it. It’s definitely for your benefit.
Good luck
If you decide to go to a tryout, play hard. You are there because you want to be there. While it is definitely a competition against every other rider at the tryout, make sure you have fun. Show the coaches that you love the sport and it will be evident in your performance.
Lastly, have high expectations for yourself. Forget your nerves and breathe. Be calm, composed, and confident, and you will be in the best position to do great!
Don’t look like these people, get in the game.

I was asked to go on this trip by Morgan Wade during practice at the Extreme Thing event in Las Vegas. When he told me that it was a 10 day trip starting in AZ going through Southern California, hitting up Woodward, Fresno, Sacramento, Reno, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Wichita Falls and back into Dallas. We ran into some crazy weather traveling from cali into Nevada so we kinda just had to wing it due to snow and rain. Havasu made for an excellent plan b. showing these guys all my spots that I grew up riding was a dream come true. We met up with my buddy San Stebila and he showed us some amazing hospitality. Thanks to Sam and Havasu Pest control for their generosity. We are now headed back through AZ to New Mexico tonight, and then onward to Texas. This has been such a productive trip, I can’t even begin to pick a favorite spot. Huge Thanks to Morgan Wade, Chris Arriaga, Cory Foust, and Cameron Muilenburg. Having such a solid crew made for so many laughs and a ton of epic riding. I would also like to thank Headrush brand and Morgan for putting this trip together, Deco bmx, Profile racing, Pusher bmx, Alienation, amd Merkem Goods for giving me the opportunity to ride an amazing set up while traveling, riding and meeting new people. -MAT OLSON

TSUTOMU KITAYAMA now riding for DecoBMX
We have decided to get rid of all TEAM riders and start from scratch with Tsutomu Kitayama from Japan. I am not really good at good byes so I hope you can tell the team they have all been let go. I had to make this decision while drunk over the weekend but I think its in my heart to move on and take no prisoners. MAT OLSON has been putting in some spring break time in his hometown, check what he had to say below and get excited the new skatepark is starting to be built soon.
I recently went down to my hometown for an event called “Teen Break.” It’s an event geared towards keeping all of the youngsters out of the spring break madness that goes in here. There are carnival rides, concerts, food, games, giveaways, and bmx/skate/scooter contests all three days. The city parks and rec director called me up and asked if I’d be able to come down and help out. She bought me my ticket and I flew out. Three days of madness, bmx, dirt and park contests, and tons of prizes! Now for the spring break madness…-Mat Olson
Mike Meister was in Florida, didn’t treat him well, but after a crash and some chill time TBR gave him THIS. And don’t forget to check out the new DIG no.93 with Mike’s Profile ad pictured below.
This pic I had to look at a few times. I wasn’t into it at first but then I noticed my feet and hand situation and I’m pumped James Covington got this pic…enjoy. -Chad D

Matt Coplon and Mark Mulville flew up from florida to met up with Grant Castelluzzo, Jeff Klugiewicz, Mike Hinkens, and Jeff Dowhen in Milwaukee and escaped the winter cold by hitting up a few skateparks in the area. Instead of having a traditional demo we decided to just have a session and invite all the kids to come out and ride with the team. A big thank you to all of the parks for having us and all of the kids that came out to ride with us.

Mr, TJ, Ray’s, HIGH 5, SALE, TOM, CHAD, MAT, Tongue, Flatland, Disclaimer, BMX
After coming back from the cold Wisconsin weather, actually I am a baby now, there is something about the Florida winters that I can’t get enough of. But having a rental car, some ebrake 180′s, some fine beer, its back to it. Chilling with Tom for a weekend was real sweet going over a lot of Deco business and non business related. Just a get away care of Rays Bike Park in Milwaukee. Thanks to the midwest riders, such a good vibe up there, keep it raging. So to start I had to put Tom’s new edit first, just the right length, in house music, and some of the best riding you will see. Mr. B’s has been a hot spot for flatland with Chad doing an oldie but goodie probably never seen. And B’s hosts some riding right out front with TJ stepping up. The Rays pics are coming in, tag us please. Another Tom edit, quickie at a pre fab park and topping it off with a 720. Check out the SALE link. Coplon in that ditch in the AM. Olson packing the hog and on the road again…keep up with him, just try. Succubus is getting out there…check the two pics of Sean and Rick. Send us your Deco pics and maybe we will post them. Flatland teaser edit. Read the new Denim seat disclaimer, or suffer. And a dirty tongue is never a clean tongue in the moments of zen. -Chad D #decoshocka #lifeislifted #decobmx

RAYS BIKE PARK IS ONLY FOR BIKES, NO SCOOTERS, NO SKATEBOARDS. IT REALLY DIDN’T SET IN UNTILL AFTER THE FIRST SESSION THIS IS HOW THEY WANT IT. SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THIS. THE FIRST DAY THERE WAS OVER 270 PEOPLE RIDING, FROM 5 YEAR OLD KIDS TO 55 YEAR OLDS. IT WAS RAD. AND WITH HOW LARGE THE BUILDING IS, HOW MANY AREAS TO RIDE, AND THE VARIETY…YOU CAN’T GET BORED. THE BEST PART WAS THE VIBE THERE, SO CHILL, SO MELLOW, SO MUCH RESPECT JUST FOR EVERYONE COMING TOGETHER AND JUST RIDING AND LAUGHING. AT ONE POINT A LITTLE KID CAME UP TO ME AND ASKED IF I WOULD RIDE THE RED ROOM WITH HIM, “HELL YES” I SAID. JEFF, DEREK, AND THE REST OF THE STAFF GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE IT COMFORTABLE. CHECK OUT THEIR INSTAGRAM TO SEE MORE PICS OF THE PARK AND RIDERS THERE. GO FOLLOW THEM AND IF YOUR IN THE AREA GET YOUR RIDE ON. THEY ARE ONLY OPEN A FEW MONTHS OF THE YEAR SO YOU HAD BETTER TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR INDOOR SET UP. BUT PREPARE TO STAY THE WHOLE DAY, YOU WILL NEED IT. THE PICS BELOW ARE ONLY A SAMPLE OF WHAT GOES ON, I WAS SO CAUGHT UP RIDING THAT I REALLY DIDN’T GET A LOT OF PICS. CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS OF DECO PEDALS/GRIPS/TEES, AND PROFILE/MADERA TEES/BEANIES AND STICKERS FOR ALL. FOLLOW DECO @DECOBMX09 AND @PROFILE_RACING. Mat put in a lot of work into this video, and he’s also one of the most unrated shredders. Mat did a lot of things he says he wouldn’t think of or even consider doing in this video, but they got done. I had the privilege of pressing the record button and watching firsthand of Mat killing it. We had to cut the video short, because of the hospital visit, but i’m happy with the outcome of it. I hope y’all enjoy watching Mat ride as much as i did hanging out and taking him to the ER. Cheers Mat!

We met up at Richardson bike mart where the owners gave us a van a trailer and a budget to go to the allied jam in Austin. Supplied with everything under the sun, we set out to build our shanty town at the event. We had coolers packed with beer and food, pop up tents with walls for pre game safety meetings, and a sweet dirt course right in our front yard. We brought 10 riders from 17 to 31. Everyone killed it the first night with a dialed night sesh. Thanks to everyone that pitched in to help with the event. It was a blast! Finals were nuts with promar Andy Martinez and a slew of amazing riders throwing down. After a long weekend and a ton of riding, I walked away with a sun tan and 500 in cash. Empire threw out some awesome grab bags for all the finalists. That was a treat! Support bmx, keep it local, and have good times. #life -Mat Olson
Ohh the darkside. This trick to this day is fun. When I am 50 I will still be doing this. It started as an accident then led into the transition from front wheel to back or vice versa. Riding flat has been sweet lately, helps if you ride good, but regardless once I get warmed up I instantly want to film a link or take a pic which by yourself can be real tough. Once I got a fisheye lense it made things easier but also more careful. Self pics are never how they seem. These two are taken between cars driving by looking at me like I’m an idiot. Not that I care, but I did want to get some good ones to stamp another day of good riding. 2013 is starting off sweet. -Chad D Instagram chaddegroot facebook chad degroot

Enough about the good weather, lets get into this post. Chad got his whip powder coated matte black, looking clean and nice for 2013. V2 coming summer 2013 with 15mm offset with or without 990 tabs and front brake cable guides for right, left, or dual cables to the front brake. This tucks the cable out of the way and no need for tape or zip ties. That stuff is crap. We think, we do, WE DECO.

This is pretty cool. Green Bay is trying to get an action sports complex which after a few emails is going through with the only hold back being funding. This is actually sweet cause its been approved and funding is up to us to get creative and make this happen. Here is some info and a link to help out…thanks. -Chad D

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Brian Schroeder
Director, Green Bay Action Sports Organization

Local Organization Recruits Pro BMXer to Help Sweep, Fundraise
Green Bay Action Sports Organization will conduct a Stadium Sweep-A-Thon on December 23 to raise funds for an indoor multi-sport complex.
Green Bay, WI – On Sunday, December 23, following the Green Bay Packers home game, the local organization, Green Bay Action Sports Organization (GBASO) will conduct its third Stadium Sweep-A-Thon at Lambeau Field in an effort to raise money to build an indoor multi-sport complex in Green Bay. The indoor complex would house ramps for skateboarding and BMX biking. Also, to help raise awareness for the GBASO and its mission, professional BMXer Brian Kachinsky will be helping the organization sweep after the Packers game.
“We’ve had amazing success with the Sweep-A-Thon so far from seeing schools get involved, local shops, and have an amazing crew of young men and women dedicated to making our vision for an indoor action sports complex a success! Having Brian Kachinsky join our crew for the cleanup means a lot to our organization. He grew up in Menasha — so he has ties to the area and lives right down the road in Chicago,” said Brian Schroeder, director of the GBASO.
PMI Entertainment offers cash to nonprofit organizations to sweep trash at Lambeau Field after home game, and while sweeping the stadium is the platform the fundraiser, the organization is seeking out pledges for its crew of sweepers. The organization is also looking for additional volunteers (ages 14 and up) for its recycling crew and volunteers (ages 16 and up) for its cleaning crew.
Part of the proceeds raised by their Sweep-A-Thon will go to a skateboard competition sponsored by one of the organization’s partners, The Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department, and the rest will go into the indoor complex and start-up costs for the organization.
“Once we are through the Sweep-A-Thon, our organization will focus on selecting a location for a new park and begin the planning, development, and building process for the indoor facility. We will also work with the schools on co-curricular skate and BMX clubs to encourage kids to participate, get involved, and stay active,” explained Schroeder.
About GBASO:
The Mission of the GBASO is to grow and develop the action sports community in Green Bay, build an indoor multi-sport complex to serve the needs of the community, and to grow youth participation through school and community outreach. The organization believes an indoor multi-sport complex will give children an indoor environment to learn, participate, and excel at the sports they love.
The GBASO is currently accepting donations at www.gbaso.com.

Recap – The Ricardo Laguna Pro Dirt Challenge in Lake Havasu, AZ Oct. 27, 2012
I’ve never been to a city where the community came together so quickly
and easily to make an event possible, but that’s how things are in
Lake Havasu, AZ. This past weekend, countless people and organizations
donated their time and resources 100% pro bono, united towards the
goal of raising money for Tinnell Memorial Sports Park – a skate & BMX
park to be built in honor of Patrick Tinnell, a BMXer and member of
the armed forces who lost his life serving our country. On Oct. 27, at Sara Park Rodeo Grounds in Lake Havasu, spectators had
the chance to not only support the building of the new sports park,
but to participate in raffles, enjoy delicious food and drinks, check
out local vendors and listen to music while watching the dirt
competition, announced in style by industry veteran Fat Tony.Riders from as far as Hungary came to town to compete in Pro and
Amateur contests. One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen – a dad,
Slayer (Casey Joyce) competing in the Pro comp following his son
Colin’s appearance in the Amateur comp. I love seeing the next chapter
unfold, like any traditional sport where the dad dreams of playing
baseball or basketball along with his son. To put the icing on the
cake, to have kids come up to me and say they want to continue riding
after being a part of this event and trying to keep dirt alive – one
of the many reasons why I continue to do this.During the pro contest, a Cindarella story happened with Dustin Grice
who got first place after qualifying last place, Colton Satterfield
showed us that you can do the craziest trick no matter where you are.
Josh Hult clearly wasn’t tired after driving over 14 hours to make the
contest, showcasing double tail whips both directions and opposite
back flips on the same run. Hungary’s finest Danny Josa showed us both
style and big tricks all while riding brakeless. Hometown riders Mat
Olsen and Sam Stebila made finals with their own style of riding. I
was glad to see AJ Anaya in finals with classic superman seat grabs,
to corked out 720s and plenty more of his original tricks. One
competitor that I really admire is Ben Voyles, who I just found out
has been fighting through injuries plus cancer twice in the past 2
years. He threw down a textbook back flip bar spin to a tuck no hander
to a 360 tuck and winding down his run with the biggest flip whip of
the night. He’s a true inspiration with his 2nd place finish that
anything is possible no matter what life throws your way. I met Jake
Levia when he came to my house, and when he did a backflip 180 over a
spine, I knew this kid was serious. He came with unique tricks that
were more than enough reason why he was in finals. When Victor Salazar
was riding in practice, he destroyed the course with flawless runs,
but after crashing and getting shaken up during the contest, couldn’t
quite put it together, but still was a crowd pleaser. With such great feedback and great support from the Tinnell Memorial
Sports Park Committee and the city of Lake Havasu, we were able to
raise over $15,000 for the Patrick Tinnell Memorial Skate Park. This
is a huge step towards completing a venue for the kids to encourage
their participation in sports, teach them positive values along with
bike safety, and keep them away from drugs. After seeing a great success with this event, I’m excited to announce
the Ricardo Laguna Pro Dirt Series – a 3 stop contest that will happen
in 2013. The series begins with Extreme Thing on March 30, 2013 in Las
Vegas, followed by another stop TBA and ending with the finals in Lake
Havasu in Nov. 2013.I can’t say thanks enough to everyone who came out and donated their
time, resources and energy to make this event possible. Much thanks to
sponsors DK Bicycles, TSG, Deco, Freegun Underwear, Hoffman Bikes,
Sidewall Distribution, Mudshark Brewery, Profile Racing, Break Lube,

Mat at Texass toast signing everthing and wearing the Deco. banner…this is gangsta. Mat had this to say about his trip and what happened @texastoast
What an awesome event. Texas toast fits every style of rider. Flat contest was amazing to watch. Got to see some of the homies throwing it down. The street course was pretty wild. Some amazing things went down. Personally, I favored the dirt. Such a creative and fun course. There were 70 of the best in the world competing. Getting to ride with dudes like Nyquist, Foster, Bohan, Ennerson, Porzio, Mullville… The list goes on. I saw Matt Hoffman, Van Homan, Jesus, everybody was there. Shit was going off. I got to meet up and chill with Tom V. Always good to see him. Putting it down for deco! #lifted I plan on making it out to Cali soon. Holla
The first day things were a little wet with rain coming through every now and then. As the day went on the trails got better and faster. Qualifying was rad. I got to rebel run it in James p. Nutter’s place. Qualifying was full weeks ahead of the actual contest. I had to scramble last minute just to find a replacement rider for shows. I didn’t even think I was going to be able to attend. Needless to say, just to go and check out the scene was a treat. I appreciate those guys letting me rebel run the qualifiers. Big shout out to Taj and everyone involved for creating such a fun event. Thanks.
The Brian Foster documentary was sooo good. I always knew he had an amazing influence and was a AA pro, but getting to see all of his accomplishments and accolades throughout his career as a rider… Well just bad ass.
Finals went down as expected. Nuts. 70 riders cut down to 16. I would hate to be a judge. Every style and a million tricks, I wouldn’t even know where to start. Morgan Wade accomplished the impossible, The gauntlet of death. One of the craziest courses I have ever seen. Guaranteed to walk away with a scab or two. Overall the party scene, the riding, the friends, Austin has it going on. -Mat Olson

Banned, Japan memories, Woodward West, FuForks, Candy kids, tubes…
This one is a banger, hate to toot that Deco horn but #decoshocka is popping up all over this world. Spread the shocka and send us pics. First off lets get started with the Japan trip which the pics are still not up, there is over 500 in a folder and I don’t want to post them all. So think of why your in bmx then watch the video below. Little emotional but great regardless. Make memories is the key. Make sure you attend the Banned Jam. The candyland skatepark isn’t the dream but sessions are always going down and gingle that leg jangle and take a look what we do. Mat Olson at Woodward West is ridiculous as well as his pics. Follow him cause he is everywhere. Hitting us with a ton of pics from trails to school shows and even a quick clip of a wild flair for the kids. Coplon tossed us some pics from Florida and Tulsa where he is on his way to Texas toast. That one is going to be nuts. Tremaine wanted to check in with a few shots while filming his new edit which will drop real soon. THEN, your moments of Zen never let you down. The Banned crew is throwing a huge jam in December and wanted to get the word out early. Here’s what Trey Jones had to say: “We are doing a jam in Florida on December 8, this is an idea Rickey always had but never got to make it happen, its similar to the bone deth and fbm jams but with more redneck involved, gonna be a trail jam, obstacle course, one 30 ft jump and a crazy street course, we are trying to get a bunch of people to come make a trip of it since its going to be cold everywhere else and its gonna be perfect weather in FL, everyone can come camp for the weekend and party. We have a Facebook page right now that we just started and we are gonna do updates on what we are building.”
Start making plans and get involved, this is gonna be wild!
Why not film at our local skatepark? this is part 1 of many edits coming from Candyland skatepark in Longwood Florida. Traveling all over the country is crazy. You see a lot. What happens before and after school shows could seriously be a reality tv show. Jokes and jokes and jokes. This year has been so good. Its rad to have so much going on. Contests and jams are the best so get out there and start something.
I love being a part of such a humble company like Deco. We are out there! From flat to street to dirt and park, people get on it. I see what’s good in Deco. Tom is killing it out in CA, and with all the riders out there reppin that good shit you will see a lot more of us on the scene. It’s crazy to think that a regular guy like all of us is running shit. Not some corporate office full of suites and ties. Whether its input, traveling, new ideas, or just a laugh, chad gets it. We do this for fun.
Earlier this year we came up with a few big donations and some good ideas to get a park built for a fallen rida. Several months of planning and scrambling have finally evolved into a cash purse dirt comp. (my favorite) With help from our community (lake havasu city) and outside sponsors it’s set for later this month. 5000 cash and a ton of local goods will go out to all who come to enjoy this event. Dew Tour in San Fran will hopefully give people the opportunity to linger and check out my home town and a very good cause. I know this will help our city grow and honor a fallen soldier who taught me the ways of bmx.
Edits are the new videos, and here is a short but sweet edit from Woodward west. I like that it came together to show all the fun we had. Dirt sessions, mega sessions, and even gymnastic sessions are more than enough to keep you busy and having a good time at West. Go hit it up if u ever have the opportunity.
Big thanks to everyone who has helped me ride and smile. Deco, Pusher, Profile, MerkemGoods, Ridas in all the cities I have been blessed to see, people on the streets. You can find a friend in almost anyone. Go ride around a new city or town by yourself and explore a little. Some of the best times I have had we’re spent with complete strangers. Spread the good word and ride Deco. Lego my deco peace. -Mat Olson

Our caps are compatible by 80% of forks on the market. Notice the rust on the one steer tube which is the old style and stay away from this.. The new one is upgrade with an extruded area for strength and so the threads hold better for the compression cap. We beefed up the areas that need it most and didn’t sacrifice weight.

COB, Kerry Gatt, Chad DeGroot, Mat Olson, Lifted, Flatland, interview, vitalbmx, Sand bars, and zen
Keeping fresh posts is going down the tubes, maybe instagram, twitter, and our facebook are better? Sorry about that. AND I still have yet to load the Japan pics with some wild Taiwan ones to help. More apologies. But I promise you this is gonna be bangin. DeMarcus cutting it up in LA LA land edit is solid and clean. Expect big things coming from him for sure. Global Flat has a link to the COB, if you missed it you can still watch it and get excited cause it was incredible. Then VitalBMX allowed me to answer questions with no filter, if you got in I thank you, if you snoozed you loozed. Featured bike sets up are starting to come in, thanks. Tom V’s ride is pretty choice I must say so with those sample SAND bars and custom leather seat…dang. Taylor Bonds tears it up and congrats to the family for a new baby brother. Tom’s LIFTED tee was spoiled and now you can see it but we have yet to make it…soon. Try shooting pics of flatland? Wow! What a crazy long trip! From Texas to havasu to Vegas to Woodward west back to havasu to Sante Fe and finally… Back in texas. Long hours, tons of riding, and a whole mess pile of good times. I picked up my dogs in AZ, life is pretty good. School shows start up soon, there is a sweet dirt contest in lake havasu city AZ on Oct. 27th, interbike, Texas toast, trails. Damn things just get busier the more you think about it. Get busy livin or get busy eating big macs, that’s what I always say. Big shout out to Deco. Thanks for all things good. Thanks to clay @ Pusher, ProfileRacing, everyone out at West, Trey Sam and Taylor for shredding the entire time, buy some deco, and fuck gas prices. -Mat Olson

Party In The Parkin Lot Official Music Video – Chris Gentry ft. Raine
Dewd Tour Ocean city pics from Chad’s iPhone.
Ocean City Dew Tour was pretty amazing, how can it not be. On the beach, bmx, boardwalk, and good times judging. Even Crandall was sighted, that was a shocker, FBM at Dew Tour. When it comes to bmx nothing is shocking. Like Kris Bennett’s mole face. Double riding with Daryl Nau on beach cruisers. Jack Daniels huge back tattoo. Chillin with P rod. San gria and the sink in our hotel getting ready for the night. Fireball was cool the first night then they sucked it up, I will still drink that sass though. Trey Jones orange tan. Chad won the Dew cup which isn’t even a cup, and its fucking 50 lbs so your screwed shipping it back or flying with it cause it will blow out your back. “I heart black guys shorts” or “I pooped today” shorts. The boardwalk is diabetes waiting to happen with fried oreo’s or fried corn on the cob, funnel cakes, candy factories every ten feet, greasy pizza, sugar flavored everything, candy coated everything, and fat waiting to put you to sleep. The board walk was incredible people watching, butt cracks showing, crack showing, bikini babes and the shitty tattoo war. The 2 mile walk each way was worth every minute of it. Even the contest was incredible. Just wish they did more than one or two events a year, they use to have 6 at one time. Bmx recession? Check the pics below for some laughs and some crys. My crotch was blown out before I landed then Freimuth topped it off and sliced it in half…sorry about those pics. -Chad D
Coming soon, Tom Villarreal’s LIFTED frame.
Here is a sneak peek of the 21.5″ tt new Self Titled frames in Black or Silver…be here soon.
